Poetics Earthwide

Reigniting the Joy of Learning

How can poetics help reform education?

Authorship, poet composing outdoors

Poetics starts with training one’s ear on one’s inner voice and then summoning the courage to give it outward expression.

This process stirs up the joy of learning through the exploration inherent in self-realization.

The careful attention practiced in poetics  that comes from seeking to understand life’s narrative can be channeled towards a student’s style of learning and towards discovering creative ways of guiding their unique processes.

Scholarship

The search of poetics expands from the narrative of one’s family to that of one’s community and on to the Earthwide history of humanity.

This leads to the joy of a practical curiosity to learn that revitalizes teacher and student.

Grassroots educational initiative dedicated to the practice of poetics (the highest quality of attention and internalization) as a way  to reignite the joy of learning.

Our goal is to encourage and enable self-expression, constructive dialogue (communication skills), purpose in study, fulfillment in the learning experience, and liberation based on an Earthwide humanism.

Pedro Barilari is the founder of Poetics Earthwide, he is an author and poet dedicated to revitalizing the joy of learning.

About the founder

Pedro Barilari was a child when his family of 7 migrated to Miami from the foothills of Los Andes, Patagonia. Writing and emceein’ became a way to communicate freely in a system that seemed to reject dialogue and belonging.
In this process, Pedro went from being a youth who dreaded studying to one who loved learning wholeheartedly.
Today his work is dedicated to the rehumanization of education in the greater Everglades region. He is studying early childhood development and exploring the power of poetics to reignite the joy of learning.
